    HMRC issues scam warning linked to tax returns
    HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has warned taxpayers to be on the alert for fraudulent emails. Following the 31 January deadline for self-assessment tax returns, criminals have been busy sending out phishing emails which purport to offer people tax rebates. They are, in fact, fraudulent. The emails provide a click-through link to a replica of the HMRC website. The recipient is then asked to provide their credit card details....

    Road rage on the A21
    Cranbrook resident, Edward Pantrey, 19, who repeatedly punched his friend in a fit of road rage has been given a curfew. Edward Pantrey pleaded guilty to assaulting Theo Chantler during an incident in Pembury Tesco car park on August 2.
